Safety information

  1. Dams and water troughs can pose serious drowning risks.  Our property has many dams and water troughs.  Many of our campsites are either located at dams or water troughs, or dams and water troughs are nearby. Care should be taken to supervise children and poor swimmers around the water sources on our property.  All persons should take care when entering dams as depths can vary.  Water can be discoloured, and can hide hazards such as submerged branches below the water’s surface.
  2. Some trees are located on the periphery of campsites; do not camp under any tree limbs, as they can sometimes fall.  On windy days, we suggest that you avoid walking or riding through the forest on our property, as tree limbs can be more likely to fall.
  3. There are snakes (mostly red belly blacks) on the property – so always keep your eye out.

Rules

  1. No parties, or excessive and persistent loud noise – enjoy the serenity instead!
  2. Please ensure the campsite is left clean and do not burn rubbish.
  3. Access to the campsite is for guests only. If you would like to have visitors, please let us know.
  4. Please only use the designated walking/riding trails within the property, and don’t wander through paddocks as there may be horses there. Do not feed or ride our horses.
  5. Cars are only permitted on the main driveway to the campsite and through to the toilets. We have young children, so please stick to the 10km/hour speed limit on the property.
  6. Campfires are permitted in designated fireplaces when there are no restrictions and at our discretion. You can gather your own wood, or we can cut and stack wood for you as an optional extra – contact us if you would like this.
  7. Dogs are permitted, but let us know that they are coming when you make a booking, by writing us a message. There is a maximum of 2 dogs per campsite. We do not allow hunting type dogs. Dogs must be well behaved, kept with you at all times, and kept away from horses and wildlife. Dogs should not be left unattended. Please be aware that on our walking trails, you may come across horse riders or walkers, and so please carry a leash, and tie up the dog/s if horse riders come close. Ticks do occur in coastal NSW areas, and can be especially dangerous to dogs. Dogs should be tick-treated before they get here.
  8. No hunting or use of firearms on the property. No trail bikes.
  9. No generators.
  10. We provide a recycling bin for collection of glass bottles, plastic bottles and cans only. All other rubbish needs to be taken with you and disposed of appropriately.
