Welcome to our new venue ‘The Nursery’ at Kangarutha Farm.

The Nursery is a nature-based venue, set within our large coastal estate. The venue overlooks a picturesque dam and is backed by native forests.

Designed to comfortably accommodate groups of up to 100 people, our versatile venue is perfect for a variety of events.

Nestled close to nature, The Nursery offers a unique blend of indoor and outdoor areas. The spacious outdoor grounds are ideal for ceremonies and activities and provide a stunning backdrop for photographs. The indoor area provides a fresh, bright, and stylish function space with rustic charm.

Venue features

The Nursery function space

Kangarutha Farm’s spacious function area combines rustic charm and modern amenities. Featuring an open layout with large roller doors for a light-filled space and a commercial kitchen. We can seat up to 66 people in this space.

The indoor venue space is accessible, is all on one level and links to the outdoor area with flat paths. At the moment, the path to the amenities is a flat gravel path.

Grounds

Adjacent to our indoor function space and undercover outdoor area, two large flat grassed areas await, ideal for marquees, tipis, games, workshops, tents, and picnics.

Outdoor undercover areas

There is an outdoor undercover area available for additional seating capacity or ceremony location in wet weather.

Kitchen / Bar

Our large, stainless steel commercial kitchen is equipped with a double sink, dishwasher, portable stove-top, and microwave, ready for any event. The kitchen can also double as a bar.

Kangarutha Farm features a country style cottage (sleeps up to 8 people) as well as camping options.

Kianinny Bush Cottages is very close by, while in Tathra, there is Tathra Beach House Apartments and T athra Beach Eco Camp.
